    What would you say to an opportunity to spend a week playing alongside and learning from some of the greats of jazz? This one-week intensive offers you the chance to learn from a stellar faculty that includes: saxophonist GARY SMULYAN, vocalist and Grammy nominee KARRIN ALLYSON, percussionist BOB WEINER, and jazz historian TOM RENEY.

    DAILY SCHEDULE

    10 AM to 12: Tune-ups and warm-up jams, followed by one-on-one masterclasses in horns,
    rhythm section, and voice
    1 PM to 2:
    Jazz History/Appreciation class with Tom Reney
    2 PM to 4:
    Group rehearsals in preparation for Friday's concert before family and friends

    CONCERTS

    Thursday evening will feature a Faculty Benefit Concert in which the top Honors students will be invited to join their teachers on-stage. Friday is devoted to the final concert in which everyone gets a chance to play before family and friends. And you will get a DVD of your performance to remember everything you shared during this music-filled week!

    REGISTRATION AND FEES

    Tuition for the week is $275 for students (high school or college) and $325 standard. Auditors may attend for $125. Limited scholarships are available. There is a $25 materials fee which includes a DVD of your concert. You can reserve your spot with a $50 deposit, with the balance due when you arrive on Monday.
