Schedule

The intensive meets from 10 AM to 4 PM daily.

Mornings will start with tune-ups and warm-up jams, followed by master classes in horns, rhythm section and voice that will give you a one-on-one learning experience on your respective instruments.

After lunch, Tom Reney, host of "Jazz a la Mode" on WFCR, will share his knowledge and love of the music and its history, helping you understand and connect with the music you are playing.

The rest of the day is filled with a group rehearsal in which you will get to sit-in with your teachers and play music you love.

Thursday evening will feature a Faculty Benefit Concert in which the top Honors students will be invited to join their teachers on-stage.

Friday is devoted to the final concert in which everyone gets a chance to play before friends and family. And you will get a DVD of the performance to remember everything you learned and shared during this music-filled week!
